




OM606 3.0L CUSTOM BUILD
Every engine is completely disassembled and inspected thoroughly. The engine block and head are then deburred of all existing cast marks and imperfections. The block is then vapor blasted and brought to a trusted metal finishing facility where they cryofreeze and then professionally coat with manganese phosphate or nickel phosphate. I then transport the blocks to the machine shop where they are machined to specification. Additionally, all engines will have head bolts rethreaded for M11 custom head bolts.
Crankshafts are polished, and all rotating parts are balanced before assembly.
All new bearings gaskets O-rings and seals are used.
Head:
Additional head work can be done depending on Build specifications, but a stock head is standard. Valves and valve seats are inspected and replaced if need be. Valve seals and valve springs are replaced. We only use F-tune performance valve springs.
Coolant mod head gaskets are used on all builds
Internals:
Piston rods are upgraded to F-tune rods. New Pistons are inserted with new bearings and rings.
Turbo:
Specific turbo will be decided after conversation with the client determining power goals
Injection pump:
Injection pumps will be om6performance buit pumps, EDC, or mechanical
- EDC builds will use Baldur’s Control System DSL1 with an additional fee for the controller and plug and play harness.
