These are custom cut MLS head gaskets for your early OM SOHC engine variants. These head gaskets are perfect for your high HP builds that keep blowing the organic gaskets. These are a must if you don’t want to keep your vehicle in the shop.
-Head drilling is required for the coolant mod head gasket to work, you can either find a shop near you that you trust or you can send us your head and I will drill the port to allow the best coolant flow. ( if you plan to drill the head select YES in the drop down)
-If you have a OM603 3.5L you will need a 89mm bore Head gasket, please go to OM606 head gaskets and purchase an 89mm bore head gasket.
I highly suggest you get your mating surfaces resurfaced for a clean and true seal on the head gasket. If your machine shop is capable of measuring Ra values after machining Aluminum heads they are best at 15-30Ra. if you do not resurface your mating surfaces and the gasket does not seal properly I will not reimburse. Pictures of the surfaces will clearly indicate if machining was done.
